Adds a Rick and Morty inspired portal gun for NeoForge 1.21.1.
Right click to tear open a portal. Step through and you come out somewhere else entirely.
How it works
- Fire the portal gun at any area within 8 blocks
- A linked portal opens and stays open for 15 seconds
- Anything can travel through, players, mobs, items, arrows, falling blocks, etc.
- Walk back through the portal to return
Works with Modded Dimensions
Destinations are drawn from every dimension the server has loaded, so anything added by another mod is fair game. Safe spots are found using each dimension's own terrain generator, which means it works with dimensions this mod has never heard of.
Immersive Portals Support
Install Immersive Portals, and you walk through smoothly instead of being teleported. Portals stay opaque either way, you can't see where you're going until you're through. Entirely optional.
Configurable
Portal lifetime, range, cooldowns, how far destinations are searched, and a block blacklist for surfaces the portal should never land on.
Currently everything is Creative-Mode only, until future updates.
