BuildingGadgetsAE2Request

An addon mod that adds "request missing materials from AE2" to Building Gadgets 2's material list screen.

Building Gadgets 2's CopyPasteGadget shows a "missing materials" list whenever a build can't be completed because linked storage doesn't have enough items. With this mod, you can submit those missing items to your Applied Energistics 2 (AE2) network as an autocrafting job in one batch, straight from that screen, instead of manually opening an ME Terminal and queuing each craft by hand.

Every "is this item missing" / "is this item secured" judgment is recalculated authoritatively on the server from the gadget's own data — the client's displayed numbers are never trusted
Once a crafting job is submitted, this mod waits indefinitely for it to finish rather than giving up after a timeout — on a healthy AE2 network, a submitted job will always eventually complete, so no arbitrary time limit is imposed

Key Features

There are two ways to trigger a request, and it also integrates with a few other Building Gadgets 2 / AE2 systems.

Request button on the material list screen: Press the button that's added to Building Gadgets 2's material list / paste screen to submit every missing item to AE2 as a bulk autocrafting job. The button automatically disables itself when your inventory + AE2 network stock already cover the shortage
Hold-key + paste: Hold this mod's custom keybind while doing a normal paste (right-click) with CopyPasteGadget. Missing items are requested from AE2 and, once crafting finishes, the build is automatically pasted at the clicked position — no anchor needs to be set beforehand
A dedicated crafting-progress GUI shows the status of an in-progress request and lets you confirm or cancel it at any time; the Request/Cancel button on the material list screen switches state automatically while a request is active
Integrates with Building Gadgets 2's Undo system — cancelling a crafting cycle is undoable
Optional integration with AE2 Crafting Priority — automatically boosts the priority of the crafting jobs this mod submits (not required for core functionality)

Installation

Install Forge
Put the Applied Energistics 2 jar in your mods folder
Put the Building Gadgets 2 jar in your mods folder
Put this mod's jar in your mods folder too
(Optional) Put the AE2 Crafting Priority jar in your mods folder for priority-boost integration
Launch Minecraft

Known Limitations

This mod's request button only appears on Building Gadgets 2's CopyPasteGadget material list / paste screen; it doesn't apply to other Building Gadgets 2 tools
The hold-key + paste keybind is unassigned by default — you need to bind it yourself from the Controls screen
How fast a submitted crafting job completes depends entirely on your AE2 network's own crafting capacity; this mod does not speed up or bypass AE2's crafting
This is an early Beta release. Core functionality has been tested, including large-scale requests (hundreds to thousands of items), but unknown issues may remain in some setups

Credits

BuildingGadgetsAE2Request

Building Gadgets 2のMaterialList画面に「AE2へ不足分を要求」機能を追加するアドオンMODです。

Building Gadgets 2のCopyPasteGadgetは、リンク先ストレージの在庫が不足しているとき「不足資材リスト」を表示しますが、このMODを入れると、その画面から直接、不足しているアイテムをまとめてApplied Energistics 2(AE2)ネットワークへオートクラフト要求として一括投入できます。従来のようにME端末を開いて一つずつ手動でクラフトを投入する必要はありません。

「不足しているか」「確保済みか」の判定はすべてサーバー側でガジェット自身のデータから権威的に再計算します。クライアント側の表示値は一切信用しません
クラフトジョブを一度投入したら、タイムアウトで諦めることなく完了まで無期限に待機します。正常なAE2ネットワークであれば投入済みのジョブは必ずいずれ完了するという前提のため、恣意的な時間制限は設けていません

主な機能

要求のトリガーには2通りの方法があり、Building Gadgets 2/AE2の他の仕組みとも連携します。

MaterialList画面の要求ボタン: Building Gadgets 2のMaterialList/ペースト画面に追加されたボタンを押すと、不足しているアイテムをまとめてAE2へ一括オートクラフト要求します。手持ち・AE2ネットワーク在庫だけで既に足りている場合はボタンが自動的に無効化されます
キー押しながらペースト: 本MODが追加する独自キーバインドを押しながら、CopyPasteGadgetで通常のペースト操作(右クリック)を行います。不足分がAE2へ要求され、クラフト完了後にクリックした位置へ自動的にペーストされます。アンカー(固定ペースト位置)を事前に設定しておく必要はありません
専用の進行状況GUIで要求中のクラフトサイクルの状態を確認でき、いつでも確認・キャンセルが可能です。MaterialList画面上の要求/キャンセルボタンも、要求中は自動で状態を切り替えます
Building Gadgets 2のUndo操作と連携し、クラフト要求サイクルの取り消しも可能です
AE2 Crafting Priorityとの任意連携に対応。本MODが投入したクラフトジョブの優先度を自動的にブーストします(コア機能の動作には不要です)

既知の制限

本MODの要求ボタンはBuilding Gadgets 2のCopyPasteGadgetのMaterialList/ペースト画面にのみ表示され、他のBuilding Gadgets 2のツールには対応していません
キー押しながらペーストのキーバインドはデフォルトでは未割り当てです。コントロール設定画面からご自身で割り当ててください
投入したクラフトジョブがどれだけ早く完了するかは、AE2ネットワーク自体のクラフト能力に完全に依存します。本MODがAE2のクラフト処理を高速化・バイパスすることはありません
現在は初期のBeta版です。大量要求(数百〜数千個規模)を含め主要機能の動作確認は行っていますが、環境によっては未知の不具合が残っている可能性があります
