Brewing Insight makes Minecraft's brewing system easier to understand without changing how brewing actually works.

Instead of memorizing potion recipes or constantly checking a wiki, Brewing Insight adds a clean, vanilla-style interface directly to the Brewing Stand that shows you what you're making, what you can make, and how to make it.

Whether you already know Minecraft's brewing system or have absolutely no idea where to start, Brewing Insight is designed to make brewing understandable at a glance.

🔮 See What You're Brewing

Brewing Insight analyzes the contents of the Brewing Stand and shows the expected result before the brew is finished.

You'll be able to see:

• What potion the current combination will create
• Which ingredient is being used
• Which bottle is being modified
• The resulting potion
• Potion effects and durations
• Effect amplifiers when applicable
• Multiple effects when a potion contains more than one

🧪 What Can I Make?

Not sure what to brew?

Brewing Insight includes a "What Can I Make?" browser that lets you select one of your current bottles and see the useful potion results that can be made from it.

Instead of dumping a giant list of recipes onto the screen, results are organized into a simple browser so you can choose what you actually want to make.

Select a potion and Brewing Insight will show you how to make it.

Recipes clearly identify:

• Ingredient / Top Slot
• Bottle / Bottom Slot
• Result

For potions that require multiple brewing stages, Brewing Insight displays the complete process in order.

No brewing chart or wiki required.

Brewing Insight understands that many potions aren't made in a single step.

It can guide you through brewing paths such as:

Water Bottle → Awkward Potion → Potion → Upgraded Potion

Each stage is shown individually so you always know what goes into the Brewing Stand next.

✨ Alternative Ingredients

When multiple ingredients can produce the same result, Brewing Insight groups them together instead of filling the interface with duplicate recipes.

You can expand the ingredient list whenever you want to see every available option.

Brewing Insight also translates the Brewing Stand's remaining fuel into something immediately useful:

How many brews you have remaining.

🎨 Designed to Feel Like Minecraft

Brewing Insight was designed around Minecraft's existing interface rather than creating a completely separate recipe-book-style menu.

The interface uses:

• Vanilla-style text and UI elements
• Tooltips
• Compact potion information
• Responsive layouts for different GUI scales
• Mouse-wheel scrolling
• A draggable scrollbar
• Simple back and continue navigation

The goal is for Brewing Insight to feel like information that could have been part of the vanilla Brewing Stand all along.

⚙️ Vanilla Mechanics Stay Vanilla

Brewing Insight does not change Minecraft's brewing mechanics.

It doesn't add new potions, change recipes, alter brewing times, or make brewing easier through gameplay changes.

It simply exposes and organizes information that would otherwise be hidden from the player.
