brashroots

Brash Roots is a lightweight Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge addon for Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks.

The mod adds a beneficial status effect called Brash. While an entity has this effect, the nature spell Root cannot entangle or capture it. The spell's root effect is removed when it attempts to affect a protected entity, allowing the entity to move freely.

Testing the effect

Use the following command in-game:

/effect give @s brashroots:brash 999999 0 true

After the effect is applied, the Root spell will no longer be able to entangle you.

Installation

1. Install Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge.
2. Install Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks and its required dependencies.
3. Place brashroots-1.0.0.jar in the mods folder.
4. Launch the game.

Compatibility

Brash Roots only adds the Brash effect and its Root-spell immunity behavior. It does not modify the damage, duration, visuals, or other mechanics of the Root spell.
