Description
Features
Mana Tank Upgrade
- Stores up to 1,000,000 mana by default (configurable on the server).
- Acts as a full Botania Mana Pool when the backpack is placed in the world.
- Accepts mana bursts from mana spreaders.
- Lets adjacent spreaders pull mana from it (place the backpack behind the spreader, just like a normal pool).
- Works with normal sparks and spark upgrades (Dispersive, Dominant, Recessive, Isolated).
- Transfer direction can be set to Input & Output, Input Only, or Output Only.
- Right-click the tank slot in the backpack GUI with a mana item to charge or drain it according to the current transfer mode.
- The Wand of the Forest shows the exact mana HUD when pointed at the backpack.
Mana Supply Upgrade
- Lets compatible mana-consuming equipment carried by the player draw mana from the backpack's Mana Tank on demand.
Mana Infusion Upgrade
- Uses the backpack's Mana Tank to convert filtered items using
botania:mana_infusionrecipes. - Supports vanilla, data-pack, and mod-added recipes that do not require a catalyst. - Pulls items from normal automation (hoppers, pipes) and has a "Works in GUI" toggle to also process items placed or moved by the player in the backpack interface. - Includes basic filter options. ### Advanced Mana Infusion Upgrade - Uses the backpack's Mana Tank to perform mana infusion. - Detects the block directly below a placed backpack to enable Alchemy Catalyst and Conjuration Catalyst recipes, plus any catalyst declared by data packs. - Has more filter slots. - Supports filter modes by item, mod ID, or item tag. ## Known Limitations - Dropping items on top of the placed backpack does not trigger infusion; only backpack inventory items are processed. - Throwing mana items at the backpack in the world does not charge them; charging happens via the GUI tank slot. - Multi-block structures that hard-codeManaPoolBlock/ManaPoolBlockEntitychecks (for example the Elven Portal) are not supported. The mod does not use Mixins to fake block types.
