Changes
- During the action of the terrifying presence, special particles will appear around the stalker, displaying the approximate radius of this ability. Also, now when receiving damage, you will visually see the effect of drying.
Feature of the event
- The event will last until January 14th. During the event, zombies and skeletons will spawn equipped with a creepy snowman head and a candy sword, or a creepy nutcracker head and a nut hammer. Undead with a snowman head and a candy sword will freeze the player with their attacks, and undead with a nutcracker head and a hammer will have a chance to knock the player's helmet off his head when attacking, which will be indicated by a special sound. These features will make regular monsters more dangerous. As a reward for killing them, you can get a creepy gift.
- Creepy gift. Can only be obtained during the event. When opened, it drops a random item, the higher your naughtiness, the worse the items you will receive, at the maximum value you will not receive anything except coal.
Innovations
- Creepy Snowman Head and Creepy Nutcracker. New decorative blocks.
- New obedience mechanics. The mechanics are similar to how it works in DST. Now for doing bad things you will receive naughtiness points, namely killing animals and villagers, for killing animals in whose death there is no practical benefit, such as a sniffer, more naughtiness points will be awarded, the largest number of points you will receive for killing baby animals or villagers. You can reduce the number of naughtiness points for such actions as fertilizing plants and taming animals. Every time you accumulate enough naughtiness points, you will hear the sound of a Krampus approaching, which will indicate your bad behavior. After a certain value, two Krampus Henchmen will come for you as a warning, and if you accumulate the maximum number of naughtiness points, then Krampus himself will come for you. If you do not kill the Krampus or do not correct your behavior, the Krampus will come again for the next bad action. When killing a Krampus, the amount of naughtiness points will be reduced to 15% of the maximum value.
- Krampus Henchman. A nimble, annoying enemy that you can encounter in cold biomes, or if you misbehave. Krampus can also summon them as his minions. Minions have a chance to knock your weapon out of your hands with their attack. When they receive damage, they begin to panic a little, running away from the player only to attack again.
- Krampus. A mini boss that can be very rarely encountered in cold biomes after the tenth night, or you can force him to come for you if you accumulate enough naughtiness points. Krampus is a rather dangerous opponent that is better not to meet without proper preparation. His strong attacks have a chance to knock all items out of your hand, but if you block a strong attack of Krampus, he will cause serious damage to your shield. During the fight, Krampus will summon his Minions who will attack you, also trying to knock the weapon out of your hands. When Krampus loses enough health, he will roar and summon a small snowstorm around him. The snowstorm will freeze everyone around him gradually, slowing them down and dealing damage as it freezes. You will have to keep your distance wisely to avoid freezing to death. After a snowstorm ends, Krampus can summon it again after some time. When you die a Krampus, you can get its horn and bag.
- Krampus's Bag. When opened, in addition to coal, it gives you a random rare item, most often items related to other minibosses from the mod.
- Stormcaller's Horn. Can be craft from the Krampus Horn. You can blow into it to summon a small snowstorm around you. The storm will gradually freeze enemies around you, slowing them down more and more and dealing frost damage over time. After using the Horn, it goes on a long cooldown.
- Permafrost Shard. Can be obtained by killing Krampus and his minions (also sometimes from creepy gifts). Used in some crafts.
- Frostbitten Blade. A sword with attacks that will freeze the target, applying the Bone Chilling effect to it. For each repeated strike on the target, the effect will be strengthened. The effect itself, in addition to frostbite, slows down the target, the strength of frostbite and slowdown depends on the level of the effect.
- Icy Sweetness. It is a customization for Frostbitten Blade and is completely identical to it in all respects.
- Elixir of Ice Barrier. Created by brewing Permafrost Shard into Chaos Component at a brewing stand. When consumed, it grants the Ice Barrier effect, which will increase your resistance stat, and will also freeze every enemy that hits you, the more the enemy attacks you, the more they freeze.
- Nut Hammer. Can be obtained from gifts or Krampus's bag. Each attack with this weapon has a chance to knock off the target's headdress.
- Creepy Cookies With Milk. When eaten, it removes all potion effects from you, and also lowers your naughtiness indicator by 5 units, allowing you to adjust it more flexibly. Later, you can craft it.
- Spiritual Gingerbread. When eaten, removes the Magic Depletion effect, and also increases your naughtiness indicator by 5 units, allowing you to adjust it more flexibly. Later, you can craft it.
- Added a couple of new achievements.
Happy New Year and other winter holidays!
