◆ BondCraft Fabric v2.0.0 Update
BondCraft continues to expand on Fabric 1.20.1!
Version 2.0.0 introduces four new monsters, expands Rift content with Rift II, and brings major improvements to boss battlefields, combat systems, and companion progression.
This update focuses on giving players more challenges to overcome and more opportunities to grow alongside their companions.
✨ Main Additions
Rift I & Rift II
The Rift system has been expanded with a new challenge: Rift II.
Players can now encounter different enemies across Rift challenges, each with its own combat characteristics.
Rift battles take place in dedicated arenas, separate from the normal Minecraft world.
Rift II Enemies
Rift II introduces two new hostile creatures:
-
Rift Kakudon — A powerful close-range enemy with a wide-area attack and defensive abilities.
-
Rift Gijit — A flying ranged attacker that fires Rift energy projectiles.
These enemies are designed specifically for Rift combat and cannot be recruited as companions.
Boss Battlefield Improvements
Boss battlefields have received a major overhaul, expanding the experience of facing powerful enemies in dedicated combat areas.
The update also includes adjustments to combat handling and supporting systems.
⚔ Rift System Expansion
Rift II
Rift II introduces a new enemy formation featuring Rift Kakudon and Rift Gijit.
-
Two Rift Kakudon and two Rift Gijit are included in the initial enemy formation.
-
Defeated enemies are scheduled to be replenished after five seconds.
-
Each Rift II enemy grants a base reward of 50 Bond EXP when defeated under eligible combat conditions.
-
Rift II uses the existing Rift session and arena management systems.
Rift Battle Rules
Rift battles continue to use the established dedicated-field system.
-
Players can enter alongside their active Bond companions.
-
Up to three active companions can participate.
-
Party composition is locked during a challenge.
-
Challenges have a three-minute time limit.
-
The existing Rift cooldown and return systems remain in place.
Rift enemies are intended to provide opportunities for companion training while presenting greater combat challenges.
👾 4 New Monsters
Four monsters join BondCraft in this update.
New Monsters
-
Bandit (Female)
-
Vescal
-
Rift Kakudon
-
Rift Gijit
Bandit (Female) and Vescal can be encountered in the desert, while Rift Kakudon and Rift Gijit are exclusive to Rift II.
⚔ Bandit (Female)
Type: Humanoid
Role: Support
Spawn Area: Desert
Combat Style: Melee
A new member of the bandit group has appeared in the desert!
Bandit (Female) uses close-range attacks and supports other Humanoid companions through a defensive passive ability.
Passive — Bandit's Protection
While bonded, Bandit (Female) grants +1 DEF to eligible Humanoid allies within eight blocks.
-
Does not affect itself.
-
Does not affect other instances of the same mob.
-
Does not affect the owner.
-
Only applies to eligible active companions.
This makes Bandit (Female) a useful support option for parties featuring multiple Humanoid allies.
💀 Vescal
Type: Undead
Role: DPS
Spawn Area: Desert, at night
Combat Style: Floating melee attacker
Vescal is an Undead creature that moves through the air and attacks enemies with close-range strikes.
Its passive ability becomes stronger as its health decreases.
Passive — Undying Resolve
While bonded, Vescal gains +1 ATK when its HP falls to 50% or below.
The bonus is removed when its HP rises above the threshold or when the companion becomes ineligible for combat.
Vescal offers an aggressive playstyle that rewards fighting through dangerous situations.
🛡 Rift Kakudon
Type: None
Role: None
Encounter: Rift II
Recruitment: Not available
Combat Style: Close-range area attacks
Rift Kakudon is a heavily built Rift enemy specializing in close-range combat.
It attacks everything within its surrounding attack area, making positioning especially important.

Eligible attacks include:
-
Direct melee attacks
-
Projectiles
-
Explosions
-
Fall damage
Certain other damage sources, including fire, poison, and magical damage, are excluded.
Combat Traits

The third projectile receives the damage bonus.
-
Enhanced projectiles feature stronger purple visual effects.
-
The counter resets after the enhanced shot and when combat ends.
Combat Traits

Uses ranged Rift energy projectiles.
-
Projectiles travel in a straight line.

Rift Wisp: 12 EXP
-
Rift Remnant: 18 EXP
-
Rift Kakudon: 50 EXP
-
Rift Gijit: 50 EXP
Eligible active companions receive the full assigned EXP reward rather than splitting it between party members.
Level Progression
EXP requirements have been adjusted while maintaining the existing Level 10 cap.
The updated level progression requires a cumulative total of 1,000 EXP to reach Level 10 from Level 1.
Existing companion progression, evolution, and party systems remain part of BondCraft's core gameplay.
Combat System Refinements
Additional improvements have been made to the underlying combat systems that support damage, healing, combat effects, and companion interactions.
