Blockforged expands Minecraft’s equipment system with new tools, weapons, and armor crafted from existing materials. Material-specific attributes and abilities offer distinct options for mining, combat, and utility, supported by equipment upgrades and advanced crafting tiers.

💎 Materials with distinct abilities

Equipment offers more than different durability and damage values. Material traits provide benefits for mining, combat, underwater exploration, movement, and everyday utility. Hold Shift over equipment to explore its properties and choose what suits your playstyle.

⬆️ Upgrade your equipment

Raise a tool’s mining tier while keeping its material traits, enchantments, and other properties. Advanced crafting tiers expand your options with powerful equipment, unbreakable tools and armor, and specialized abilities.

🔨 Mining with precision

Clear a 3×3 plane with an area-mining hammer and see the targeted blocks before breaking them. Sneak to switch to single-block mining when precision matters. Fortune, Silk Touch, and experience are supported.

🛡️ Armor with a purpose

Combine individual armor benefits or equip matching sets for additional bonuses. Advanced armor abilities include toggleable night vision, fall protection, and installable, fuel-free flight.

🔧 Repair instead of replace

Equipment with depleted durability remains as a broken item. Its uses and bonuses become inactive until repaired at an anvil, allowing you to restore it while retaining its enchantments and upgrades.
