Better Respawn
This mod adds a mechanic that lets you respawn near your death location.
Features
- The minimum and maximum distance from your death location is configurable.
- You will still respawn at your bed if you return from the end or if you die in another dimension.
- You will also respawn at your bed/respawn anchor if you are within a certain distance of it (Configurable).
- A configurable respawn cooldown (Off by default).
Functionality
Do you know any alternative mod similar to this for minecraft 1.12.2 ?
1.12.2 support pls

Nope.

BRUH.
In reply to iaroslavvlasiuk:
If I would have to port all of my mods to older versions I wouldn't have any time to do anything.
In reply to henkelmax:
Related question, though i'm currently trying to make a 1.16 modpack so i currently do not care much about 1.12. What sort of license does this mod have?
In reply to SethbotStar:
You are allowed to use it in modpacks
Can you add a config that disables "You will still respawn at your bed if you die in another dimension"
How about being able to choose to spawn to a specific player or a campfire? That would be neat, especially with some recent mods turning campfire into a sort of safe place.
is there any way to change the spawn chunk, for your home, for your farms to work 100% of the time? tried using commands, but it doesn't change, is there any way? world edit can do this?
In reply to uzielfilho:
This mod doesn't change anything related to the spawn chunks.
In reply to uzielfilho:
There are commands that allow you to change world spawn as well as several mods that feature simple chunk loaders.
Does this work on Fabric?
In reply to Tolnin:
No.
How does one configure this? I'm finding no config file/folder at all.
In reply to Nachtflame:
In your world folder under serverconfig
In reply to henkelmax:
Question, do you have plans to include a global config option in the future?
Thanks,
In reply to MLMII:
This is the default way to do configs that sync from server to client. If you want to create a modpack with a custom configuration, you have to put the configs in the defaultconfig folder.
In reply to henkelmax:
Sorry for taking so long to reply but I wanted to thank you for your answer.
In reply to MLMII:
No problem!
