Better Combat Mod Rebirth
This mod will make you able to configure the combat system as you wish as well as make you be able to dual wield weapons for the best combat experience!
This mod is a continuation of the original mod made by Ironfists for Minecraft 1.12.2 and beyond!

Configurable changes(configurable in the mod options)
- Refound energy on missing an attack
Melee attacks that don't hit the target won't trigger the attack cooldown
- Longer attack
Melee attacks gain +1 block range
- Wider attack
Melee attacks hit in a wider area (easier to land hit)
- Random crits
Melee attacks have now 30% chance to critically strike, critical strikes can no longer be forced by falling
- Attacks require full energy
You may only attack if your energy is full (disabled by default)
- Weaker left arm
Attacks with the offhand deals 50% less damage
- Attack and sprint
Attacking an enemy while sprinting will no longer interrupt your sprint
- More swipe animation
Every items can trigger the sword swipe animation
- Additional hit sound
Add an additional sound when striking a target
- Additional crit sound
Add an additional sound when a critical strike happen
- Blacklist and Whitelist for items
Does a sword not work in your off-hand? Have you trouble with an item that should not be used to hurt anything? Now you can configure which items are allowed/denied to strike!
Dual Wielding Combat
- You can now right click with an offhand weapon to strike. Weapons include Swords, Axes, Pickaxes, and Shovels.
additional information : Note that the "damage immunity" that target recieve when you strike them is not shared. This means that you can hit with both weapons at the same time and the target will recieve both of the damage.

stg and the stg feature in combat refined caused the majority of the crashes in my own pack so i wouldn't exactly recommend it
Someone knows something similar for 1.16.4? and not just for the dual wealding

dungeonsgear mod the forge one also makes the nightmare's bite and other dual wielded weapons offhand combatable

Guys remember to disable the longer attack on the mod options xD
Seeing "random crits" in the features list gives me nam flashbacks to TF2

idk of this is gonna get updated like grappling hooks directly jumping into 1.16 also here i found a similar but you can only attack offhand with Minecraft dungeons weapons Dungeon gear https://github.com/Thelnfamous1/Dungeons-Gear/wiki/Features-Added-to-Combat

When better combat is installed on a server, disabling parts of the mod in the config file (such as longer attack range) is not forced on a player's client.
A player can simply edit their configuration of the mod in their client to turn everything back on. In fact, if they didn't turn off beforehand, every feature will still be active.
