Lithaculeus controls the arena with crystal eruptions, sweeping claws, charges, and a pursuing beam. Its attacks apply Crystal Erosion, slowing movement and setting up Fracture for devastating follow-up damage.

At half health, its armor weakens, but it moves faster and recovers more quickly between attacks. Read its movements, keep an escape route open, and prepare for pressure at any distance.

The Abandoned Crystal Mine

Discover a rare sandstone entrance and descend through abandoned passages into a vast crystal chamber. Search its supply caches and forgotten relics before confronting the creature below.

Surveys found in abandoned mineshaft loot lead you to the mine. Entering the arena in Survival or Adventure begins the awakening.

Lithoclast

Defeat Lithaculeus to claim its Tail Stinger, Crystalline Heart, and Carapaces. Combine these trophies with a Netherite Trident to forge Lithoclast.

Charge into battle with a crystal dash, build erosion through its explosions, and fracture those stacks with melee attacks.

Crystal Erosion

Lithaculeus’s attacks inflict Crystal Erosion, a stacking effect that slows you down and leaves you vulnerable to Fracture. Avoid repeated hits—letting erosion build makes escaping its next attack harder.

Lithoclast turns this power against your enemies: its crystal explosions build erosion, and melee strikes fracture those stacks for additional damage.
