Benjamon

New in 2.16: a mystery, the Benja Olympics, a museum and a time machine

• The mystery of the golden statue. Every Minecraft week the golden statue disappears from the square in Benjaby, and it makes the front page of the newspaper. Detektiv Dorte on the square puts you on the case: find three clues around town (footprints, a hair and a smell, so sneak up to each spot to examine it), question the six suspects (Smør-Sonny, Mamma Lucia, Elvismin, Is-Ingrid, Bogholder Bent and the bartender) and name the thief. A correct guess pays a 1,500 kr. reward, and the first player on the server to solve it puts the statue back on its plinth. Every week brings a new case and a new thief.
• The Benja Olympics. OL-Ole by the football pitch runs five events: sprint, high jump, weightlifting, swimming and relay, each played as a small timing game. Your Benjamons' own stats count too (Sea types swim best), and you compete against three athletes for gold, silver and bronze. Medals pay prize money and give you a medal item, and your best medals of the week go on the weekly medal table.
• The Benja Museum. Kurator Karla in the lobby of Hotel Benjagio takes your collectible cards (one exhibitor per species) and your best photo. The museum under Las Bengas has a wing for every type plus a photo gallery. Exhibits stand as small figures with the exhibitor's name on them, so every player can see them. When a wing is complete, everyone who exhibited in it gets a prize.
• The time machine. Professor Metformin by the safari entrance sends you 65 million years back to a small prehistoric valley with ferns, fossils, a lake and a smoking volcano. Only here can you find three new dino Benjamons: Dinomin, Raptormin and Rexmin.
• Achievements: Mesterdetektiv, Olympisk mester, Museets ven and Tidsrejsende.
