Beavers & Unicorns 1.1.0 beta (Fabric 26.2)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
New
- Garden Gnome. A "friendly" little gardener with an enormous appetite and an even shorter temper. He is fond of forsythia, keeps to himself, and would rather you did not stare. They're usually pretty vegan, as long as you keep your distance.
- Wild gnomes. Meadows, plains, sunflower plains and flower forests, after dark, in small groups. They keep to the flowers. Warning: They bite at night!
- Forsythia. A garden shrub in two states, bare-leaved and in full yellow flower. Flowers grow back on their own once they are gone.
- Forsythia specimens. Most bushes are small and tidy enough to hedge with. Roughly one in fifty grows twice the size.
- Lime Powder. Drops from gnomes (for now). Garden gnomes are cast in mortar, and mortar is mostly lime.
- Wet Brick. Lime powder, sand, bone meal and a bucket of water make nine. What they are for arrives in 1.2.0 beta.
- New spawn egg art. Beaver, squirrel and gnome redrawn against the real vanilla egg silhouette - The beaver finally has ears and separated incisors.
Fixed
- Recipes from this mod did not appear in the recipe book. All 53 of them do now.
Known issues
- The gnome is completely silent. We forgot the sounds. He makes no noise when he walks, none when he is hurt, none at any other time. Coming soon.
- In some versions of Fabric, text does not display on signs. It is my fault. But I don't care about signs.
- Wet brick leads nowhere yet. That is a taste of 1.2.0, not an oversight.
- Life still isn't perfect.
- Squirrels remain smarter than the beavers. This is deliberate.
Removed
- The mantis shrimp is gone, and the whole reef with it.
