What's new
Avaritia Easy comes to Minecraft 26.1.2
This release runs on Minecraft 26.1.2 with NeoForge. The file is avaritiaeasy-2.0.0-26.1.2.jar.
What's in it
Everything 1.0.2 had: the ingots and singularities, the Extreme Crafting Table with its simplified recipes, World Breaker, Planet Eater, Nature's Ruin, Hoe of the Green Earth, Sword of the Cosmos, Longbow of the Heavens and the Infinity Arrow, the full Infinity armour with its wings, the Matter Cluster, the Gaping Void, the Neutronium Compressor, datapack-defined singularities, and the JEI category. This is not a content update — it is the same game on a new engine.
The real work was the rendering
Minecraft 26.x replaced its drawing system from top to bottom, and the cosmic effect — the one that makes Infinity gear look like a window onto empty space — had to be rebuilt from scratch. It works everywhere again:
- on the sword and the tools, both held in hand and as inventory icons;
- on worn armour, including the wings and the glowing visor;
- on the halo that surrounds the items in the inventory;
- on the Gaping Void.
Compatibility
ImmediatelyFast — one config line needed. Its enhanced_batching optimisation breaks the cosmic effect: the sword shows it in the world but not on the hotbar icon, or the other way round, and it changes between launches. To fix it, open config/immediatelyfast.json and set "enhanced_batching": false.
Every other ImmediatelyFast optimisation keeps working. This is not a fault in this mod — Re:Avaritia, the original, hits the same wall (issue #576).
Shaders (Iris) — the mod works, the cosmic effect does not yet. With a shader pack loaded there are no crashes and no glitches: the armour renders solid black with its visor lit. The cosmic effect itself is not drawn, because Iris replaces every mod's own shader with the shader pack's. Full shader support is coming in the next update.
Sodium — no issues.
