Auto Replant: Enchanted Harvest

Harvest with an enchanted hoe and leave a new seedling behind.

Auto Replant adds a single-level Auto Replant enchantment for hoes. Break a fully grown crop in Survival with the enchanted hoe, and it can replant at the same position using one planting item from that harvest.

Supported crops

• Wheat — uses one wheat seed.
• Carrots — uses one carrot.
• Potatoes — uses one potato.
• Beetroot — uses one beetroot seed.
• Nether wart — uses one nether wart.

The replant starts at age zero on valid soil. If that harvest contains no planting item, the crop stays broken and all drops remain available.

How it works

The mod uses the actual vanilla loot result, including Fortune, then reserves a single planting item only when placing the seedling succeeds. It never takes seeds from your inventory or rolls a second harvest. Other drops, such as poisonous potatoes, remain part of the harvest.

Immature crops, ordinary hoes, other tools, Creative harvesting, and disabled block drops do not activate the enchantment. Unsupported plants keep their normal behavior.

Getting the enchantment

The enchantment is included in the vanilla enchantment table, trade and loot pools. It can also be applied to a hoe with an enchanted book on an anvil. Availability depends on normal game randomness.

Installation

Target: Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1, Fabric, Java 21.

Install Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer and Fabric API 0.116.17+1.21.1 or a compatible newer build for Minecraft 1.21.1. Put the Auto Replant JAR and Fabric API JAR in the instance's mods folder. Use the same Minecraft version on client and server. Installing the mod on the client provides the English and Russian enchantment names.

This release targets the five listed vanilla crops. Compatibility with individual protection mods, custom crop mods and other loot-changing mods has not been established unless explicitly listed in the test report.
