● House Builder — a fully client-side Forge 1.20.1 mod (Java 17) that builds houses for you and gathers the resources to do it.
Press B in game to open the control panel. Pick from 12 houses — a starter cabin plus 10 real medieval schematics (cottages, blacksmith, chapel, tent, garden house, town hall, and more) — and hit Build.
The mod checks your inventory first and tells you in chat exactly what you're missing (Not enough materials: Oak Planks 20/214). If you have everything, it builds the house for real, block by block,
walking around the site on its own: bottom-up, torches last, logs on the right axis, stairs facing the right way.
Short on materials? The panel's gather buttons send your player out to get them:
• Gather Wood — pathfinds to the nearest trees and chops them (uses your axe if you have one, fists otherwise)
• Mine Iron / Diamond Ore — finds exposed ores, walks there, and mines them with the right pickaxe (tells you if yours is too weak)
• It circles blocks for a clean line of sight, never breaks blocks that are just in the way, avoids lava, and walks over the drops to pick them up
Everything runs through normal player actions — walking, looking, clicking — so it's purely client-side: no server install needed, works in singleplayer and on servers. The panel shows a live have/need
material list for each house at your current position, with scrolling for the big builds.
