Auric Arcanum

A synergistic magic mod. Participant and winner in EC’s ModJam 2025. Choose your elements and cast spells that adapt based on your selection! This mod requires Moonlight Lib as a dependency.

Mod Items

Staves: While in hand: Left click to cast. Right click to open up the element selection UI. Shift right click to clear all selected. Shift + scroll to change casting form. While in UI: Left click to choose elements. Right click to undo last. Middle click to reset all. Select up to 6 elements.

Elements

Fire: Does fire damage and evaporates water and ice

Ice: Causes cold and slowness, and can freeze water

Rock: Knockback and damage. Is a rock

Life: Augments effects and heals. Grows

Death: Increases damage and kills life

Water: Knockback and wets things

There is a lot of interactions between these elements that would be too much to list here so play around with them. The two most common elements selected determine the projectile form.
