Aura Cascade Unofficial Port
Beta 0.1.0+1.21.11
Initial public beta release of the unofficial modern Fabric port of Aura Cascade.
This release targets:
- Minecraft
1.21.11 - Fabric
- Java
21
Highlights
- Ported the core Aura Cascade progression loop to modern Fabric, including aura nodes, pumps, monitors, consumers, vortex crafting, rituals, storage systems, utility gear, fairies, guidebook content, and late-game progression content.
- Restored the mod's main item, block, and texture surface from the original Aura Cascade artifact rather than replacing the mod with a loose spiritual successor.
- Added modern build, test, and release packaging so the project can be built and verified on current tooling.
- Preserved the original mod's overall structure and content identity while documenting the remaining behavior substitutions and unresolved parity gaps.
Included In This Beta
- Eight-color aura storage and transfer gameplay
- Aura nodes, manipulators, monitors, pumps, and fluxing node support
- Consumer and progression block families including processors, synthesizer, miner, looter, spawner, enchanter, rituals, and vortex crafting
- Angel's Steel progression, utility items, swords, accessories, books, and storage systems
- Fairy systems, Ring of Binding support, and guidebook content
- Restored Aura visual assets and modern Fabric packaging
Compatibility And Build Notes
- This mod is built for Java
21. - The Gradle build targets Java release
21directly. - Dedicated-server startup, tests, and packaged jar builds were validated against the Java
21toolchain during release verification.
Known Issues In This Beta
This beta is already broad and playable, but it is not full parity-clean with the original mod yet. The remaining known gaps are:
Ring of the Shattered Stone
- The ring's explosion-channeling behavior is present, but it does not yet enforce the legacy loose-block damage filter that limited affected blocks to dirt, stone, sand, and gravel within the protected area.
Prismatic Wand
- Copy/paste is implemented, but it still skips block entities and fluids.
- Paste currently consumes direct placement items instead of reproducing the original legacy drop-plus-metadata behavior.
Kaleidoscopic Enchantments
- The recovered legacy single-color and pairwise effect table has been documented, but the live runtime still uses a narrower modern substitution set instead of reproducing the full legacy interaction matrix exactly.
Release Status
This build should be treated as a real beta:
- major systems are present
- the mod builds and loads successfully
- the remaining issues are specific parity gaps rather than total missing feature families
If you are looking for a modern playable Aura Cascade port and are comfortable with a few known legacy-behavior mismatches, this beta is ready for testing and feedback.
