What's new
1.2.2 — Auto Mining and enchantment priority
- Added Auto Mining (
Alt + Mby default). It uses client-side vanilla attack emulation rather than a separate server mining engine, so normal block hardness/break progress and the existing Astral mining pipeline remain authoritative. - Auto Mining follows the active horizontal Astral Guide target, continuously aims at it and applies forward movement only when needed. Configurable stop/resume distances use hysteresis so the player stays roughly 1–2 blocks from the next tunnel wall instead of walking into it and repeatedly auto-jumping.
- Auto Mining automatically pauses attack/movement while Astral Core Heat is overheated and resumes after the configured cooldown threshold.
- Added configurable hostile-mob behavior for Auto Mining:
IGNOREorSTOP, with a configurable detection radius. - Added optional instant Auto Mining food consumption. Harmful/special foods (including Rotten Flesh through negative-effect detection, Chorus Fruit, Suspicious Stew and Golden Apples) are skipped. The selector only consumes food whose nutrition fully fits the currently missing hunger and prefers the largest fitting value, avoiding intentional food-point waste.
- Enchanted-book slots now accept only books containing exactly one enchantment. Existing legacy multi-enchantment books remain removable but inactive.
- Duplicate and mutually incompatible enchantment books may now be stored together. Active enchantments are resolved strictly by slot order
1 → 10; the first applicable book wins, including when a later duplicate has a higher level. - Mining and combat enchantment conflicts are resolved independently, fixing combat/sword enchantments incorrectly blocking pickaxe enchantments.
- Fixed Silk Touch applicability by resolving mining enchantments against a vanilla pickaxe capability proxy before applying them to the Astral tool. Fortune/Silk Touch priority now follows book-slot order.
- Lower-priority or otherwise inactive enchanted books are visually darkened in the pickaxe GUI.
- Existing pickaxes automatically rebuild their applied enchantment NBT once under the new book-priority rules.
