What is Aspen?

Aspen is a content mod that focuses on botanical, mycological, and generally more naturally reverent content. It receives updates the same way a live service game does, with larger updates consisting of a theme. In between larger updates, smaller ones referred to as "ruminations" fill the space. Aspen is its own beast. It is constantly blossoming into its own standalone experience where few mods are needed to complement it.

What was the latest update?

 
The latest update was Rumination 2. In this update, the Old Ocean, has been given some new mobs and decorative blocks. This update also fixed numerous bugs and annoyances, as well as adding new functionality that some have requested. All new mobs, sound effects, mechanics, and advancements, are now available for your enjoyment. The next update will be significant, and will take time. Please enjoy.
