What's new
*Update from 1.1.0: just replace the jar. Settings you already changed are kept, and the new settings start switched on.*
- **Smoother frames with G3 Project Doors Reborn.** Every 2 game ticks, G3 Doors checked every block in a 49 × 25 × 49 box around you (about 60,000 checks) to keep its tech doors drawn correctly. This mod does the same job in the same area, but only looks at the doors that are actually there. In our test the render thread used 21% less CPU, and the worst 0.5% of frames went from 23–63 FPS to 69–91 FPS. Tech doors still open, close and stay drawn correctly. Only active when G3 Doors is installed (client side).
- **Structures no longer spawn inside each other.** In new land, surface structures from different mods (villages, towers, dungeons, ships, ruins…) keep at least 32 blocks between them. When two would overlap, the rarer one stays, and villages always win. Scenery like rock arches and boulders makes way but never removes a real structure. Underground structures (mineshafts, strongholds, trial chambers, cave biomes) are not touched, and the same seed still gives the same world. This replaces No Structure Overlap, which deleted most shipwrecks, ocean ruins, ruined portals and dungeons.
- **The same biomes every start.** TerraBlender mods (Biomes O' Plenty, Oh The Biomes We've Gone) could load their biome regions in a different order on each start. That gave the same seed two different layouts, and new land could meet old land at a hard biome seam after a restart. The order is now fixed.
- **Low-memory tip.** If the game has less than 8 GB of memory and isn't using the ZGC or Shenandoah garbage collector, you get one short chat tip on how to stop stutters (8 GB on a PC with 16 GB or more, plus ZGC). It shows once, and again only if your memory or garbage collector changes. Switch it off with `performance.memory_tip` in `config/ascension.json`.
**New settings** in `config/ascension_fixes-common.toml`, all on by default: `structureSpacing`, `structureGapBlocks` (32, range 0–128), `structureDecorations`, `structurePriority` (`*village*`), `terrablenderFixedRegionOrder`.
**Still included:** the Twilight Forest startup fix, the Create track sync fix, the FTB Library startup fix and the Infinite Railways old-world protection.
