READ THE DESCRIPTION AND CHANGELOGS PRIOR TO ASKING QUESTIONS, BETA 0.5 IS UNDERWAY AS OF APRIL 30, 2025. REPORT ISSUES HERE WELCOME TO ARMORED ASSAULT: ALPHA.
Armored Assault is a simple combat mod which aims to implement combined-arms warfare to Minecraft through a research-based crafting system, featuring an ever-expanding collection of Firearms, Tanks, Aircraft, and more.
As of Alpha 0.3.29, the mod mostly contains Soviet vehicles, weaponry, and technology, though the overall tech tree will eventually branch out and span a plethora of other nations and armaments.
Tools and Workbenches
Creating your stockpile of weapons will require some machinery and workbenches.
The Mallet is your best friend. This tool allows you to assemble armor, stamp plates, and form all sorts of equipment and parts needed for manufacturing goods.
The Aircraft, Artillery, and Vehicle Workbench allow you to draft and constrct their respective weapons and machines. To create any sort of large equipment, you need need to progress your research by crafting vehicles from early periods of modern warfare. To do so, create a General Research Mandate, which will then allow you to branch off into whatever nation's tech you wish to persue.
The Munitions Workbench allows you to feed the machines you create with the few grams of lead (or kilotons of explosives) to deliver pain to your enemy.
The Bessemer Converter allows you to create alloys quickly and cheaply in order to supply your production of armaments. The machine requires lava to be inserted in the orange slot prior to use.

Important Information and Tips
To arm weapons on aircraft, check the weapon's slot number, then select that weapon system using the corresponding Numpad (or preferred key). Right click to arm the munition. Right click again to fire it.
Different shell types load into different slots while using most tanks. You must select a weapon slot in order to fire the corresponding round.
Aircraft ammo belts, coaxial machine guns, and small arms magazines are automatically loaded.
Currently, Fuel is needed in your inventory to drive.
While in a tank, right click to load coaxial ammunition.
Some weapons such as the RS-82 rocket do not require you to select any weapon slot.
Uraninite can be found deep underground, hidden within deepslate. Put a Geiger Counter in your off-hand to find sources more easily.
