Apt Ores makes ores visually take on the material touching them. For example, an ore adjacent to a granite block will appear to have a granite material instead of the vanilla stone or deepslate backdrop.
This is purely a client-side rendering affect, and does not modify blocks or world gen; does not require server installation and compatibility with other mods and shaders is generally expected. It is supported and simple to integrate another mods' custom ores as apt ores.
