The anvil never says Too Expensive. Anything that would cost 40 or more levels costs 39 instead.
Anvil Cap removes the Too Expensive limit. Any repair, combine or enchant that would cost 40 or more levels is capped and costs 39 levels instead, so nothing is ever blocked by the anvil. Cheaper operations are unchanged. Server-side only: install it on the server (or in single player). Minecraft 26.3, Fabric, no Fabric API needed. Part of the Vanilla Plus collection. MIT licensed.
