✨ New: the Gravity Anchor Reactor
A brand-new multiblock that bends gravity across a huge area. Build it, power it up with the Gravity Console and choose what gravity does around your base.
How to build it (bottom to top)
| Layer | What to place |
|---|---|
| 1 | 3×3 Gravitium Blocks + one block sticking out of each side (a diamond). One of those 4 tips must be the Gravity Console |
| 2 | Gravity Stabilizers on the 4 corners of the 3×3, Purple Stained Glass on the 4 sides, middle left empty |
| 3 | Anchor Core in the middle, Purple Stained Glass on the 4 sides |
| 4 | Purple Stained Glass on the 4 sides, middle left empty |
| 5 | The same diamond as layer 1, all Gravitium Blocks |
| 6 | A plus of 5 Gravitium Blocks |
You need: 30 Gravitium Blocks, 4 Gravity Stabilizers, 12 Purple Stained Glass, 1 Anchor Core, 1 Gravity Console.
When the shape is complete, the core wakes up: the capsule charges, unlocks and its parts start to levitate around a glowing crystal, while purple fire bursts from the stabilizers.
Levels
| Level | Range | Upgrade cost |
|---|---|---|
| I | 26 blocks | — (active as soon as it's built) |
| II | 40 blocks | 8 Gravitium Blocks + 4 Ender Pearls |
| III | 50 blocks | 16 Gravitium Blocks + Heart of the Sea |
| IV | 60 blocks | 32 Gravitium Blocks + Nether Star |
Zone effects (one active at a time)
| Effect | Catalyst | Level | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gravity Lock | Shulker Shell | I | Turns anti-gravity off in the zone and protects blocks from being lifted |
| Safe Landing | Phantom Membrane | I | No fall damage — on the floor or on the ceiling |
| Inversion Zone | End Crystal | II | Inverts gravity for everyone in range |
| Mob Filtration | Nether Star | III | Inverts gravity for hostile mobs only |
Gravity Console
- Beacon-style interface with clear button states: selectable, selected, active, and locked (padlock)
- Level crystals with the current range, a status line and a "what to do next" hint
- Dedicated slots for the catalyst, Gravitium Blocks and the upgrade item, with item previews and have/need counters
- Full tooltips for every button and slot
💎 New: Gravitium
- A new End material: Gravitium, Gravitium Block and Gravity Stabilizer
- Found in End City treasure chests (about 5 per chest)
- Craftable: 4 Popped Chorus Fruit + 4 Amethyst Shards + 1 Ender Pearl → 4 Gravitium
🔊 Sounds
29 new sound events, all with subtitles:
- Gravitium blocks, the Gravity Anchor and the Gravity Observer
- The whole reactor sequence: charging, unlocking, levitation, hum, stabilizer fire, effect change, upgrade and power-down
- Console feedback, including a "denied" sound for unavailable buttons
- Anti-Gravity TNT lift-off and ceiling impact
- Heavy Boots equip sound and heavy footsteps
🎨 New looks
- Gravity Anchor — a heavy three-part block with an anchor inlay; particles get pulled into it
- Gravity Observer — a window with a plumb bob that flips upside down when it detects inverted gravity, plus a signal lamp
- Heavy Boots — new icon and a custom texture when worn, on every supported version
🛠️ Changes
- New crafting recipes for every block and item (arrows and potions unchanged). Every recipe now reflects what it makes, e.g. Anti-Gravity TNT is classic TNT with Gravitium instead of sand
- Recipe book support: recipes unlock as soon as you pick up a matching ingredient
- The Gravitium Slab is now the Gravity Stabilizer, a functional part of the reactor with its own recipe
- Gravitium blocks, the console, the core and the Gravity Anchor need an iron pickaxe; the Gravity Observer needs any pickaxe
- Translations brought up to date for all 20 languages
🐛 Fixes
- Anti-Gravity TNT could appear to pass through the first block or leaf layer above it
- Mod blocks dropped nothing when mined
- Most recipes failed to load on 1.21.4
- Heavy Boots were invisible when worn on 1.21.4
📜 License
The mod can now be freely included in modpacks: public or private, including CurseForge and Modrinth reward programmes, no need to ask. Full terms are in LICENSE_antygravity.txt inside the jar.
Notes
- On 1.18.2 and 1.19.2 the Heavy Boots use the iron armor equip sound.
