Another Quarries

Overview

Another Quarries adds a configurable Quarry block that mines a rectangular volume behind its facing direction. Supply RF, install drones and drills, stack upgrade modules, and let the machine clear the area layer by layer while ejecting loot into its internal buffer (and into inventories above the block).

The quarry builds a decorative structure frame around the mining footprint, supports redstone control, area preview, and scales from early-game setups to large end-game mining operations.

Features

Quarry machine

• RF-powered mining with a tiered internal energy buffer that grows with your equipment load
• Adjustable area — width left/right, height, and depth behind the quarry facing (up to 128×128 footprint and 64 blocks tall by default)
• 36-slot output buffer plus automatic item ejection upward
• GUI controls — area size, digging mode, area preview, full reboot (rebuild frame + reset progress), redstone mode, and live RF cost breakdown
• Smart throughput — many drones increase batch size per worker tick while keeping server load bounded

Digging modes

• Full Area — mines the entire configured footprint together (default for smaller areas)
• Chunk — mines one chunk at a time; automatically enabled when width or depth exceeds the configured footprint limit, with forced chunk loading for active targets

Upgrades

Drills

• No Drills — iron pickaxe tier
• Diamond Drill — diamond pickaxe tier
• Netherite Drill — netherite tier (smithing upgrade from diamond drill)

Redstone

• Ignore / Low signal / High signal / Disabled modes
• Compatible with standard redstone detection (including dust through passable covers)
