Animania Reborn — Bring your farm to life.

Raise livestock, welcome new companions, and discover a world filled with animals to care for. Animania Reborn brings the original Animania experience to Modern minecraft, combining content from Base, Farm, Cats & Dogs, and Extra Animals into one mod.

Built from the original 1.12 source and resources, this unofficial port preserves Animania’s distinctive animals, models, textures, sounds and husbandry systems while adapting them to modern Minecraft.

Animals for every home and farm

• Farm animals: chickens, cattle, goats, pigs, sheep and draft horses, featuring distinct breeds and adult and young forms.
• Cats and dogs: a variety of companions to tame and care for, with pet bowls, beds, dog houses and other furnishings.
• Wildlife and small companions: rabbits, peafowl, hamsters, hedgehogs, ferrets, frogs, dart frogs and toads.

More than feeding and breeding

Keep food and water available, provide places to rest, and care for your animals as they grow. Animal needs play a part in growth, reproduction and production, while sleeping routines and species-specific behaviors bring character to your farm.

Breed livestock, care for pregnant animals, and watch their young follow their mothers. Collect eggs, tend nests, gather wool, milk your animals, and turn different milks into cheese.

Put draft horses to work with carts, covered wagons and tillers. Transport supplies and cultivate fields as your farm expands. Small companions have activities of their own, including hamster wheels and hamster balls.

Installation

For 1.21.1 version, you need Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge 21.1.200 or newer for Minecraft 1.21.1, and Java 21.

For 1.20.1 version, require Forge 47.1.0 and Java 17.

Install Animania Reborn on both the client and server. All four content modules are included in this download. The original 1.12 Animania files and CraftStudio API are not required.

Jade, JEI and EMI are optional. This release supports NeoForge; importing existing Animania 1.12 worlds is not supported.

Animania Reborn is an unofficial community port of Animania, based on its original 1.12 source. It is not an official release by the original Animania team.

Credit for the original project belongs to RazzleberryFox, Purplicious_Cow, cy4n, Tschipp, ZeAmateis, Timmypote, Raptorfarian, vroulas, TheJurassicAlien, and all other Animania contributors.
