Ancient Warfare 2: M&B 1.1.6-beta.1

Changes from 1.1.5-beta.1

Fixes

  • A town with a lair of another faction now becomes a city of the right faction. When a structure had leaders of several factions (for example a Nogg town with the Three Little Pigs inside), the city took the highest leader of any faction: the whole town became a small monster city and the Nogg leader ruled nothing. Now the fighting units of each faction in the structure are counted and the city belongs to the faction with the most. Cities already created in your world are not changed.
  • New cities count their whole garrison, wherever you are. A city counted only the soldiers loaded when it was founded, so a town still being built (or partly out of range) got far too little manpower. Now, for 5 minutes after a city is founded, its whole area is checked every minute: the soldiers its spawners have still to create, the soldiers alive and those waiting to respawn. Its maximum manpower is 2 per soldier, up to max_estimated_garrison (600 soldiers, so 1200 manpower; it was a fixed 200).

Commands

  • /awstructure place <template> [north|east|south|west] builds any structure or town of the mod next to you (towns ahead of you, as large as the land allows within the town's sizes), fitted to the ground as at world generation, whatever the biome. It tries a few spots around you and tells you if none fits. Tab completes the template names. The structure is recorded like a generated one, so it becomes a city when it has a leader or enough fighters.
  • /awstructure build <template> <x> <y> <z> still works but is deprecated.
  • /awsettlement recount [city] counts a city's garrison again the same way (for cities founded before this version); it also brings a city above the limit back to it.

Config notes

  • New key max_estimated_garrison (600) is added on the first start.
