MONOCHROME

A horror maze for Minecraft 26.3 (Fabric). You wake up in a white, flickering labyrinth. Somewhere inside, someone is playing the piano. Find the three keys, unlock the iron door and get out before The Pianist finds you.

Recommended for players 16+. Contains jump scares, loud screaming and flashing lights. Best played in the dark, with headphones.

THE PIANIST
- A black figure over four blocks tall, with a huge flat head like a blade and two round eyes that never blink.
- He is always following you. The piano melody comes from him: the louder it gets, the closer he is.
- When he sees you, he freezes and stares. Then he screams so loud it stuns you, and he runs. He is faster than you, even when you sprint.
- He does not always come from the front. When the music stops and the lights go out... turn around.
- He cannot be killed.

HOW TO PLAY
- Join a world and the tutorial opens. Press START and the labyrinth is built high above you. Everyone in the world goes in.
- Find the Brass, Ivory and Ebony keys. They float in dead ends far away from each other.
- Right-click a closet to hide. You can hold your breath for 20 seconds. Press Shift to get out. If he sees you getting in, he will drag you out.
- Bring the keys to the iron door in the north wall and right-click it. When all three locks are lit, the door opens... and he knows where you are.
- You have 3 lives. Sprinting makes noise.

FEATURES
- A random labyrinth every game: 85 x 85 blocks, 30 closets and loops to escape through.
- Two music tracks: the piano while he wanders, and the chase music when he hunts you.
- Ambushes, fake scares, a heartbeat that speeds up when he is near, black fog, camera shake and flickering lights.
- Singleplayer and LAN multiplayer. Everyone needs the mod.
- Press H to open the tutorial again.

REQUIREMENTS
Minecraft 26.3, Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer, and Fabric API.

Tip: the music uses the "Jukebox/Note Blocks" volume slider.
