Changelog
v1.0.0 — Initial Release
First public release of Amea, featuring the AH System — a smarter hunger/health HUD and tooltip module.
Added
- Saturation gauge — always-visible overlay on the hunger bar showing your current saturation level, which vanilla normally hides.
- Saturation preview — pulsing overlay showing the additional saturation a held food item would grant.
- Hunger forecast — pulsing preview of the hunger points a held food item would restore.
- Health recovery forecast — pulsing heart preview showing how much health natural regeneration would grant as a side effect of eating, calculated from Minecraft's actual regeneration mechanics rather than a rough estimate.
- Exhaustion (fatigue) meter — a visual bar showing how close you are to the next hunger/regeneration tick.
- Extended low-health heart shake — the vanilla critical-health warning (hearts shaking) now triggers one heart earlier (at 3 hearts or below instead of 2), as a vertical shake.
- Tooltip food values — hover any food item to see its hunger/saturation values, or hold Shift to reveal them (configurable).
- F3 debug line — exact hunger, saturation, and exhaustion values for players who want the precise numbers.
- Multiplayer sync — saturation, exhaustion, and the natural-regeneration game rule are synced from server to client for accurate previews in multiplayer.
- Automatic mod compatibility — works with any food item from any mod that uses Minecraft's standard food system, no extra configuration needed.
- Full per-feature configuration available via the in-game Mods menu config screen.
Notes
- Client-side features work standalone; installing on the server as well is recommended for the most accurate multiplayer previews (see mod page for details).
- Requires NeoForge for Minecraft 26.2.
