Sand near water gets wetter in three stages and dries back with a glass bottle.
**What it changes:** Adds moist, wet and soaked variants of sand, red sand and suspicious sand. Loaded sand near water slowly gains moisture; a glass bottle removes one stage and gives a water bottle; archaeology treasure is preserved.
**No textures are included.** The blocks reuse the vanilla sand, red sand and suspicious sand textures through one AO model, and a colour tint darkens each moisture stage.
**Requires:** Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge 21.1.252+.
**Environment:** Both (client and server).
**Credits:** Idea and behaviour from Wet Sand by HearthianDev and contributors (GPL-3.0): https://github.com/HearthianDev/wet-sand . This is a NeoForge 1.21.1 reimplementation of that mod's behaviour, written for Ambient Odyssey by alsynth. No upstream Java, worldgen files or textures are included.
**Licence:** GNU General Public License v3.0 only (GPL-3.0-only). The full licence text is in the LICENSE file inside the JAR and at https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.txt .
**Source code:** the complete corresponding source (GPL-3.0) is attached to this file as an additional file, `ao-wet-sand-0.0.1-source.zip`. It contains the module source, LICENSE, NOTICE and the Gradle wrapper; `gradlew jar` rebuilds this JAR byte-for-byte.
