Ambient Odyssey is an exploration-focused fantasy RPG modpack built around the idea that discovering the world should be just as rewarding as becoming powerful enough to conquer it. The world is packed with enormous landmarks, forgotten ruins, sprawling dungeons, revamped vanilla structures, new dimensions, unusual creatures and dangerous bosses—giving you a reason to keep travelling long after you've established a home.

Progression is equally important. Apotheosis, Relics, Iron's Spells, Cataclysm, Create, extensive food and farming content, powerful artifacts and many other systems provide countless ways to build your character and pursue increasingly powerful equipment. The late game is intended to remain genuinely challenging even after players have assembled incredibly powerful builds.

Just as much attention is given to everything between those battles. Extensive quality-of-life features, atmospheric effects, environmental details, improved ambience, wildlife and visual touches are included to make simply travelling, building, collecting and living in the world enjoyable.
