Althera

Althera 3.0.0 — Choose your Hero lets you pick your own hero, brings a brand new heroine and gives Aria a full makeover.

✨ What's new

Choose your Hero — no more random first hero: on login (or when you press H or G without a hero) a screen shows every available hero with an animated preview, rank, class, description and stats. Pick the one you want.

• This version only: if you already have a hero, the screen shows up once so you can switch, keeping your hero level and XP (or keep your current hero).

Clare — a new EX hero of the new Assassin class: a gothic heroine with silver hair, crimson eyes and a ruby rapier. During her ultimate a red magic circle opens at her feet.

Assassin class — fast and hard-hitting but fragile. Strong against Casters, weak against Shielders.

Aria reborn — brand new model, texture and animations: a paladin with a long cape and flowing hair. During her ultimate, golden wings sprout behind her.

Skill HUD — slots next to the hotbar for Overdrive (J), Revive (K), Heal (V) and Explosion (U), with timers, cooldowns and remaining Command Seal charges.

🔧 Changes

• Heroes now stand about as tall as you, with a player-sized hitbox. Hero screens still show them at full size.
• Heroes play their own ultimate and death animations (they collapse to the ground when defeated).
• New mana bar: blue gradient, smooth animation, a trail for the mana you just spent, and a red pulse below 20 mana.
• New hero screen (G): bigger preview, clearer stats and an explained settings tab ("Disable Saves" is now "Disable interventions").
• The ritual now swaps your hero for a different one, keeping your hero level and XP.
• All hero ranks (F to EX) are back; for now every roll gives Aria or Clare.
• The hero's name no longer floats above its head.
• /althera_hero divine (cheats) works again.

🐛 Fixes

• No more crash when summoning or using the ritual with no hero available.
• Dedicated servers: HUD, hero screen and custom hero models now work for every player.

⚠️ Hero models, textures and animations are still work in progress and will keep changing between versions.
