🆕 Latest Update (v3.0.0) — Choose your Hero

Choose your Hero — pick your first hero on a selection screen with animated previews, rank, class and stats. Already have a hero? This version only, you can switch once and keep your hero level and XP.

Clare — a new EX hero of the new Assassin class: fast, hard-hitting and fragile, with a red magic circle during her ultimate.

Aria reborn — brand new model, texture and animations, with golden wings during her ultimate.

• Skill HUD next to the hotbar with timers, cooldowns and Command Seal charges
• New mana bar and a redesigned hero screen (G)
• Heroes now stand about as tall as you
• The ritual swaps your hero and keeps your level
• Fixes for dedicated servers and for summoning with no hero available

Heroes available

Aria (EX, Saber) and Clare (EX, Assassin) are the playable heroes for now. More heroes join as their models, textures and animations are finished; hero visuals are still work in progress and will keep changing.

Developed by a solo developer. AI tools may be used for prototyping and experimentation, but all core systems and final implementations are created manually.

⚔️ Althera — A Fate-Inspired Progression Mod

Althera is a progression-driven mod focused on summoning and growth. Your companion evolves alongside you — gaining levels, scaling with your power, and becoming a core part of your journey.

As you play, you develop mana, abilities, and combat potential. Progression is continuous, shaping both your character and your summon.

🎮 How to Play

• On your first login, choose your hero on the Choose your Hero screen
• Press H to summon your companion
• Press G to open the status screen
• Use your Command Seals: J Overdrive · K Revive · V Heal
• Press U to unleash your hero's Ultimate

Your summon consumes mana while active and gains experience by defeating mobs. When dismissed, it enters spirit form, regenerates faster, and grants Resistance I.

All keys can be changed in Options → Controls (Althera category). If your summon ever gets stuck, use /althera_hero unstuck.

Manage your mana and evolve your summon over time.
