Minecraft Versions
- 26.2: supported
Current Features
Pumpkin Carving Station — craft one from an iron ingot, shears, a crafting table, and some planks. Use it to dye and carve pumpkins.
- Dyeing — place a pumpkin and up to 3 dyes in the station to get a colored pumpkin. Dyed pumpkins can be re-dyed; new dyes mix with the existing color.
- Carving — place up to four stencils around the pumpkin to carve its four sides. Stencils aren't used up, so you can reuse them. The finished pumpkin spins in the output slot so you can see every side.
Carving Stencils — Blank, Crafter, Creaking, Creaking Heart, Creeper, Dispenser, Dropper, Heart, Jack o'Lantern, Jigsaw, Lodestone, Observer, Spawner, Structure Block, and Wither Rose.
- Craft a Blank Stencil from paper and a pumpkin seed, then combine it with a matching item to make a themed stencil (for example, a creeper head for the Creeper stencil).
- Heart, Jigsaw, Spawner, and Structure Block stencils can't be crafted. Find them as rare loot in village houses, strongholds, woodland mansions, dungeons, ancient cities, and end cities.
Lit decorated pumpkins — craft a decorated pumpkin with a torch to light it, keeping its color and carving. Each torch gives a different glow: Torch (light 15), Soul Torch (light 10, blue), Copper Torch (light 14, green), and Redstone Torch (light 7, red). Shear a lit pumpkin to get the torch back.
Candle-lit decorated pumpkins — sneak and use a candle on a decorated pumpkin, then add up to four. Each candle adds light (3, 6, 9, 12). Snuff them with an empty hand, relight with flint and steel, and shear the pumpkin to take them back out. A pumpkin holds either candles or a torch, not both.
Inspect a pumpkin — sneak with an empty hand on a decorated pumpkin to see what's inside it.
Vanilla pumpkins — use a torch on a carved pumpkin to make a jack o'lantern, or shears on a jack o'lantern to take the torch back out.
Dispenser support — dispensers can light and unlight pumpkins (torches and candles) and shear out their contents.
Wearable pumpkins — decorated pumpkins can be worn in the helmet slot (lit ones can't).
- Other players see your dyed, carved pumpkin, and endermen won't be angered when you look at them.
- In first person you see through the carved openings. An uncarved face blocks your view completely.
- Choose which side faces forward with the "Turn Worn Pumpkin" key (unbound by default).
- A config option (also available through Mod Menu) lowers how much the worn pumpkin blocks your view.
Advancements — a set of advancements for crafting the station, dyeing, carving, wearing pumpkins, lighting them in new ways, and collecting stencils. Two are secret.
