Alkafir's Simple Machinery

A collection of simple machines for Minecraft that take tedious vanilla mechanics and put them into easy-to-use blocks. No complex setups, no power systems, no configuration menus. Just craft a machine, place it down, and let it do its thing.

Every machine supports item and fluid pipes from any side, so they fit right into your existing automation setup. If you don't have pipes, most machines work with just a right-click.

All machines have animated 3D models, drop their contents when broken, and persist their inventory through world saves. Recipes are balanced around mid-game materials — iron, glass, pistons, and a diamond pickaxe for the mining machines.

Concrete Mixer
Takes concrete powder and a water bucket to produce concrete blocks. Supports all 16 colors simultaneously across 6 slots. The water bucket is not consumed.

Mud Hydration Chamber
Add two water buckets to create an infinite water source inside the machine, then feed it dirt to produce mud. Water is never consumed once filled. Place next to a Clay Dehydrater to feed it

Clay Dehydrater
Dries mud into clay blocks. Seven slots running simultaneously. Faster than vanilla dripstone drying but not instant.

Lava Well
Fill it with pointed dripstone and it generates lava over time, just like vanilla but contained in a block. More dripstone means faster generation. Holds up to 64 buckets. Supports fluid pipe extraction.

Dew Collector
Pulls moisture from the air to produce an endless supply of water. Fluid pipes can extract as much as they can handle. Right-click with an empty bucket to fill it. Place next to an Ice Solidifier to auto-feed it.

Ice Solidifier
Freezes water into ice blocks. Accepts water through fluid pipes or from an adjacent Dew Collector. Four slots producing simultaneously.

Obsidian Fabricator
Converts lava into obsidian. Accepts lava through fluid pipes or pulls directly from an adjacent Lava Well. Five slots of storage.

Cobblestone Generator
Produces cobblestone automatically. Five slots generating one block per second each. Right-click to collect or pipe it out.

Stone Lithofier
Produces stone automatically. Same as the cobblestone generator but for regular stone.

Basalt Volcanizer
Produces basalt automatically. Same principle as the other generators.

Snowball Compacter
A built-in snow golem gets compacted by a piston to produce snowballs. Seven slots producing rapidly. Right-click to collect or pipe them out.
