Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Changes
- Reworked the aircraft model and textures, including fitted cockpit windows, detailed engines and propellers, and improved surface details.
- Added red/green navigation lights, white strobes, and alternating red beacons. Improved light visibility from below at night.
- Fixed aircraft models and engine sounds disappearing when players approached the visible aircraft.
- Extended the flight route to 600 blocks before the landing point and 400 blocks beyond it. Cargo is released at 30 seconds; the aircraft departs at 50 seconds at normal 20 TPS.
- Improved crate descent with gravity, gradual parachute opening, steady parachute descent, and smoother client movement.
- Changed the default landing radius to 64–150 horizontal blocks from the selected player's position when the event starts.
- Added server-controlled smoke color and optional smoke during descent. By default, smoke starts after landing.
- Adjusted smoke to form a roughly 13-block column that gently broadens with height. Smoke stops when the crate is emptied or five minutes after landing.
- Removed empty-crate and timed despawning. Landed crates and remaining supplies now persist across chunk unloading and restarts.
- Breaking a crate drops four oak planks plus its remaining supplies. Silk Touch and Fortune do not yield the crate item or extra planks.
- Changed the event limit to allow another delivery once the current aircraft departs, even if older crates remain. Automatic intervals are configurable on the server, with a default of 20–30 minutes.
- Added dimension ID tag support to supply conditions and the server dimension whitelist.
- Added landed crates to TACZ's interact-key whitelist for compatible TACZ versions.
- Improved aircraft tracking across chunks and migration of older flight saves.
Upgrade notes
- Update both the client and server to the matching build for your Minecraft version.
- Existing worlds retain their saved distance settings. To use the new defaults, set
min_drop_distance = 64andmax_drop_distance = 150in the world's server configuration. Type-specific overrides still take precedence.
Known limitation
- Aircraft fly at a fixed altitude relative to the landing surface. Flight paths do not yet avoid mountains.
