AI Friend adds a new NPC to Minecraft that communicates with you using real artificial intelligence via the OpenRouter API. Ask it anything, give it tasks — it will respond, move, and interact with the world!

🚀 Commands

/friend ask <message> ===> Chat with the NPC — it will respond with text

/friend ask <message> ===> Give the NPC a task — it can move, place or break blocks

/friend reload ===> Reload config without restarting (OP only)

/summon aifriend:ai_friend ===> Summon the NPC

The NPC can also be spawned using a spawn egg found in the Spawn Eggs creative tab.

⚙️ Setup

Install the mod and launch the game once

Open config/aifriend.json

Get a free API key at openrouter.ai

Paste your key into the apiKey field and choose the AI model

Done!
