What's new
Aegis Armory 2.4.0 — Steam & Broadcast
Steampunk — replaces the Exoskeleton
- Completely new armor model, textures, icons, animations, and sounds.
- Reworked pressure system: movement and combat build Pressure.
- At full Pressure, activate 16 seconds of Overdrive: +30% movement speed, +10% attack speed, and 20% incoming damage reduction.
- Press G again to release the remaining steam, damaging and pushing nearby enemies. More remaining Overdrive time means a stronger blast.
- Overdrive ends with 18 seconds of cooling. The movement penalty lasts only the first 3 seconds.
- Added automatic steam braking during falls.
- Updated HUD, crafting progression, advancements, and equip sounds.
New set — Faceless Broadcaster
- Distinctive television helmet with deployable side monitors.
- Press G to begin a 10-second broadcast, releasing an initial knockback pulse.
- Focus on visible enemies within 12 blocks to affect up to 3 targets.
- Ordinary mobs briefly freeze; taking damage immediately breaks the effect.
- Players are slowed instead of frozen. Recognized bosses receive reduced outgoing damage instead of hard crowd control.
- Targets gain temporary resistance after each effect, preventing continuous stun chains.
- Normal weapons remain usable while broadcasting.
- Includes custom models, animations, sounds, HUD, icons, recipes, advancements, and English/Russian localization.
General
- The arsenal now contains 13 complete armor sets.
- Includes all content from 2.3.0, including TITAN’s improved powered gait and synchronized footfalls.
- Both sets follow the shared Netherite-based crafting progression.
Updating
Existing Exoskeleton armor automatically becomes Steampunk through unchanged item IDs—no recrafting required.
Back up your world before updating. Players upgrading from 2.2.0 or earlier should also note that the crafting overhaul replaces some old ingredients.
