Aegis Armory 2.2.0 — Roadwarden Update

Changes since the original 2.1.0 release.

Aegis Armory now has ten complete armor sets. This update introduces the Roadwarden, a battle-worn travelling knight built around patient defense and well-timed counterattacks, while polishing the presentation and compatibility of the wider Armory.

New: Roadwarden

  • Guarded March raises a physical shield for a limited defensive stance. Frontal hits consume Resolve; a well-timed parry opens a powerful counterattack, while a shield bash trades defense for crowd control.
  • Increased the full set's base armor from 22 to 24, with one additional armor point each on the chestplate and leggings.
  • Added the craftable Roadwarden Shield. It also works as a regular shield outside the armor ability, has twice the durability of a vanilla shield, and can be repaired with iron ingots.
  • After 20 seconds idle in the full set, the Roadwarden settles beside a visual campfire in a custom seated pose. Resting can heal up to five hearts at a food cost and store a brief 3–6% damage bonus for after standing up. The scene does not place a campfire block in the world.
  • Taking screenshots or switching the camera no longer interrupts the campfire scene; movement, combat and ability inputs still end it.
  • Added a full crafting path, unique armor and shield visuals, combat animations, equipment and shield sounds, and advancements for crafting, parrying and resting.

Armory-wide improvements

  • Refreshed the normal near-hotbar status panels across the armor sets for a cleaner, more consistent HUD. TITAN's powered combat display and Juggernaut's deployed combat display keep their dedicated layouts.
  • Fixed vanilla armor enchantment support for TITAN and Roadwarden.
  • Improved compatibility with Better Combat shield poses and Punchy 2.8a first-person rendering, including duplicate armor-arm handling and TITAN's moving powered hands.
  • Updated the creative-tab icon, in-game descriptions, and English and Russian text for the new equipment and mechanics.
