Additional Compression - Mod by King Wealthyturtle, RCXcrafter:
(Made for Minecraft 1.12.2)
This mod adds compressed blocks to Minecraft (E.g. Double Compressed Clay, etc., all the way up to Decuple Compression) and is fully compatible with mods such as Ex Compressum and Extra Utilities.
You can even add more compressed blocks or remove/modify existing ones with the config.

I hate to be that guy, but is updating this mod to 1.16.5 or heck even 1.17 once it comes out going to be in the cards? I do love this mod and would seriously be excited if it were to come out on the version of Minecraft I currently play on.
In reply to That_Random_Banana:
You could use Ex Compressum for 1.16 and above
You know, On the comment below, I could have just said if you break a compressed cobblestone it would drop a compressed gravel.
Can you fix the extra utilities and ex compressum compat, can't break compressed cobblestone it with a Compressed Hammer.
Also I had an idea, whenever you break Compressed Cobblestone and below, it would drop the next tier but in compression, say if you crush a triple compressed cobblestone it would drop 9 double compressed gravel.
Question that would make less lag with Ex Compress compat.
What if you made compressed pieces? Such as Compressed Iron ore piece, Double Compressed Iron Ore Piece, and etc?
If you did that we could use more tiers of compression. It would also be a massive time saver and wouldn't crash my minecraft when I try quad compressed gravel.
Thank you so much for this mod! Love it! The last update is really solid~~
Is there any way to add a model when you add another compressed block? For example, I added quartz blocks and glowstone, I'd rather have an actual model, even if it's just a basic one from the mod, than the pink/black square it's currently showing..
In reply to CCBernarr:
If you add a custom compressed block you have to add your own blockstate and texture with resource loader, you can look in the assets folder of additional compression to see some examples of blockstate files.
can you update this to 1.15.2

Maybe someday
The compressed clay recipe seems to be strange. Make a compressed clay block from clay balls, If you try to return the compressed clay block, it will be a clay block, not a clay ball. It may have changed recently because it has become so recently.
whole lot of model/texture loading issues - did you event tested your mod before release and checked the exceptions?
loader reports "skipped additional 310 model loading errors" uhm - WHAT?
Why i can loading Additional Compression Mod 1.10.2
Hey. I love this mod, but there is an issue with the regular sand. In JEI, the recipe for single compressed sand calls for 9 single compressed sand. Red sand on the other hand, is proper. 9 red sand = single compressed red sand.
This is the only issue I can find with this mod. I love this this mod and use it in all of my personal mod packs. Thank you so much for all the hard work. I hope to hear from you guys soon.
The recipe for single compressed sand... is 9 single compressed sand.
idea: compressed string
because god damn it can string pile up
In reply to Forge_User_05597637:
String compresses into wool, I think. I did it on a server and I remember the wool breaking down into string.
There is a problem with the hardness of the blocks and material they are made from. For example, the compressed wood blocks have to be mined with a pickaxe. Also, is there a chance that the other compressed wood types and variants of the new blocks after 1.7.10 will be added?
Is anyone else not able to craft compressed sand? I don't know if it's a mod conflict but for me the recipe for single compressed sand is 9 single compressed sand instead of 9 normal sand. All other compressed sand recipes seem correct but they're useless without the first one.
