Deep Yield

Get more out of your deepslate mining.

Deep Yield adds a simple bonus system to naturally generated deepslate ores. Whenever you mine an eligible ore, there is a chance for it to drop extra copies of its normal loot.

By default, each ore has a 20% chance to trigger a bonus, with up to 5 additional copies of the original drop.

Fortune & Silk Touch

Deep Yield applies its bonus after Minecraft calculates the normal drop.

That means Fortune works exactly as expected, and the full Fortune result can receive extra copies.

Silk Touch also works normally, meaning a successful bonus can give you additional ore blocks instead of raw materials.

No Infinite Ore Loops

Deep Yield is designed to reward ores you discover while mining.

Ores placed in Survival will not trigger another Deep Yield bonus, preventing players from repeatedly placing and breaking bonus ore blocks for unlimited rewards.

Fortune and Silk Touch still work normally on placed ores.

Configurable

Deep Yield comes with several server-side options, making it easy to adjust the mod for anything from a lightly enhanced vanilla experience to a much more generous mining setup.

You can configure:

• Bonus chance — choose how often an ore gets an extra reward
• Bonus size — control how common each bonus level is, from +1 up to +5 extra copies
• Fortune support — choose whether Fortune-affected drops can receive Deep Yield bonuses
• Silk Touch support — choose whether Silk Touch drops can receive bonuses
• Creative-placed ores — decide whether ores placed in Creative can activate Deep Yield
• Ore blacklist — exclude specific ores from receiving bonus drops

This gives server owners and modpack creators plenty of control over how powerful Deep Yield should be without changing the core mining experience.

Modded Ore Support

Vanilla deepslate ores are supported automatically.

Compatible modded deepslate ores can also work with Deep Yield, allowing the bonus system to fit naturally into larger modpacks.

Vein Mining Support

When multiple ores are mined at once, each block gets its own individual Deep Yield chance.

A successful bonus only affects that specific ore — it never multiplies the entire vein.

Deep Yield keeps mining familiar while adding a small chance for a much more rewarding ore break.
