Changelog v0.2:
- Weapons with welding recipes will now have the smaller forging bonus of the two input items.
- Added the ability to silver iron weapons.
When an iron Epic Knights weapon is welded with a silver sheet, an Epic Knights silver weapon of the same type is created.
Silver weapons are not enchanted with unbreaking; when a silver weapon breaks, it turns into an iron weapon of the same type, with some durability lost.
When a silver Epic Knights weapon is raised to silver’s melting point, it melts into 200 mb of silver (subject to durability like any other TFC tool), and an iron weapon of the same type.
- This weapon is full durability, which is rather unfortunate but I don’t really know how to fix it. Don’t cheat. Honor system.
A silver weapon loses all forging bonus of the weapon that makes it up
Silver weapons are now tagged as their weapon type and deal the appropriate TFC damage type
- Added ability to smith steel nuggets using steel ingots, and steel rings (used for chainmail) using steel nuggets. Now chainmail can be crafted using the original Epic Knights recipes!
- Gave chainmail boots (AKA “Boots”) a more TFC-like recipe
- Made Epic Knights’ longbow recipe compatible with any forge: string, including TFC’s wool yarn.
- Added recipes and data for:
- Reinforced chainmail armor
- Steel plates
- Small steel plates
- Gambeson set (including quilted coif and pantyhose)
- Lamellar:
- Rows
- Armor
- Boots
- Barbute
- Half-armor
- Knight armor
- Armets
- Armet decorations:
- Crown and minicrown
- Flower crown (by giving TFC flowers the forge:flowers tag)
- Big plume is now crafted using red dye rather than red wool, and can also be dyed in a barrel using liquid red dye.
- Torse and (torse and mantle) decorations, which can also be dyed in a barrel
- Note: This consumes 25 dye per minute the decoration spends in the barrel, even though the decoration only gets dyed once. This bug appears to be an issue with the TFC barrel’s leather armor dyeing API, so fixing it is outside the scope of this datapack.
- Hopefully removed the original Epic Knights recipes when applicable (this works on my machine and I can’t for the life of me figure out why. It might break on yours, and it will almost certainly break on multiplayer but feel free to try it!).
