ArenaCore for TaCZ

TaCZ arena loop datapack for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1, tuned for the official ArenaCore arena map (map-specific coords). Step-on team pads, auto countdown, 1v1–4v4 rounds, first-to-5 scoring, death -> spectator + lobby, win fireworks.

What’s new in v1.2

  • Balanced team check: During the countdown, the datapack now compares the number of alive players on each team. If they’re unequal (e.g., 1 v 2), a 10‑second timer starts. If the imbalance isn’t fixed before the timer reaches zero, the round aborts and everyone is sent back to the lobby.

  • Random spawns remain: The datapack still uses its pre‑defined random spawn selection. Your marker-based suggestion is clever, but the current scoreboard‑random system already achieves the same effect without additional entities.

  • All previous features retained: Dead players become spectators and follow a random living teammate (or the enemy if none remain), coloured countdown titles and fireworks, and match point/victory logic are all intact.
