Skyblock Trading Rework
A datapack designed to restore missing progression paths in Minecraft Skyblock worlds through custom villager trades.
Many items, blocks, and features are difficult or impossible to obtain in traditional Skyblock due to limited world generation. This datapack rebalances and expands villager trades to provide alternative progression routes while preserving the feel of vanilla survival.
Features
- Custom trades for all major villager professions
- Renewable access to otherwise unobtainable Skyblock resources
- Progression-friendly balancing designed around survival gameplay
- Expanded Wandering Trader inventory with biome, mob, and ecosystem restoration items
- Access to blocks such as deepslate, calcite, tuff, sand, mud, and moreAlternative acquisition methods for items like totems, tridents, saddles, frogspawn, turtle eggs, sculk catalysts, and other progression-critical resources
Trade Reference Spreadsheet
A complete list of all modified villager and wandering trader trades can be found here:

This spreadsheet serves as the official reference for all trade changes included in the datapack.
Design Philosophy
The goal of this datapack is not to make Skyblock easier—it is to make it completable. Trades are intended to restore missing progression while maintaining meaningful costs and preserving the satisfaction of building farms and unlocking new content.
Rather than giving players free access to rare resources, this datapack introduces balanced progression paths through the villager trading system, allowing Skyblock worlds to remain challenging while eliminating progression dead ends.
Designed and tested for long-term Skyblock survival gameplay.
Recommended Use
This datapack is intended for use with custom Skyblock maps, void worlds, and other survival experiences where normal world generation is unavailable or heavily restricted.

Feedback is Welcome!
Found an unobtainable item? Missing trade? Progression bottleneck? Let me know in the comments!
I'm actively maintaining a rebalance document and plan to release updates as I collect enough changes and improvements. Every Skyblock world progresses a little differently, so community feedback is one of the best ways to catch missing items, balancing issues, and edge cases.
Thanks for helping improve the datapack!
Credits
Special thanks to DrexHD for creating VillagerConfig and the accompanying villager trade editor tools that made the creation and testing of this datapack possible.
Skyblock Trading Rework was built using VillagerConfig as its trade framework dependency. All custom trade design, balancing, and configuration included in this datapack were created specifically for this project, while the underlying trade modification system is provided by VillagerConfig.
