Minecraft but random events happen: is a survival datapack where the goal is simple: beat Minecraft while the world keeps throwing random chaos at you.
Every 60 seconds, a new event starts. It could be an arrow storm, anvil rain, TNT monsoon, lava trap, mob swarm, lightning chase, structure drop, loot rain, fireworks, or something even worse.
You can play solo, but it is best with friends. Work together, grab loot when it falls, hide when you need to, and try to reach the End before the next disaster ruins everything.
The timer is customizable, so you can make the game easier or completely insane.
Features
- Random event every 60 seconds by default.
- Custom timer command.
- Works in singleplayer and multiplayer.
- Deadly events like arrows, anvils, TNT, lava, mobs, lightning, wardens, spikes, and void traps.
- Loot rain with useful gear and items.
- Structure drops with chests and rewards.
How To Play
Start a normal survival world, enable the datapack, then run:
Now try to beat the game while random events happen again and again.
You can keep the default 60-second timer or change it to make the game easier or harder.
Commands
Start the chaos
Starts the datapack. Random events will begin, and a bossbar will show the countdown to the next event.
Stop the chaos
Stops all random events and hides the bossbar. This also clears some active effects caused by the datapack.
Change the event timer
/trigger chaos_timer set 30
Changes how often random events happen.
Examples:
/trigger chaos_timer set 60
The timer supports 5 to 300 seconds.
Cleanup lag
/function chaos:cleanup_lag
Removes tagged chaos loot, TNT, and markers. Use this if too many dropped items or TNT entities are causing lag.
