Infinite Evolution

Every 2.5 minutes, Minecraft gets harder. Mobs mutate, bosses show up, and the world keeps evolving forever.

Infinite Evolution

Infinite Evolution is a survival challenge where Minecraft gets harder every 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

At first, it feels pretty normal.

Then mobs start getting stronger.

Then mutations start happening.

Then bosses appear.

And after that, it just keeps getting worse.

The world can keep evolving forever, so there isn’t really a final difficulty level.

How it works

Every 2.5 minutes, the world gets a new permanent buff or mutation.

That can mean things like:

  • Mobs getting more health

  • More damage

  • Faster movement

  • Better armor

  • Bigger enemies

  • Charged creepers

  • Giant spiders

  • Baby zombie

  • Regenerating enemies

The further you go, the more everything starts stacking together.

Bosses

Bosses start appearing later in the run so you actually have time to prepare first.

There are currently several different bosses.

Bosses also scale depending on how many players are online.

When you defeat one, you get rewards based on how difficult the boss was.

The stronger the boss, the better the loot.

Optional Horror Resource Pack

I really recommend using the Infinite Evolution: Horror Visuals resource pack with this datapack.

The datapack works completely fine without it, but the resource pack makes the experience way better.

If you want the full experience, use both the datapack and the resource pack together.
