What's new

ClayGrounds Data Pack → v0.7.0

Native Entities

  • Expanded all 9 ClayGrounds enemies into registry-backed native DAI entity types.
  • Converted enemy spawns from vanilla IDs to dedicated claygrounds:* entities.
  • Added ClayGrounds-owned loot tables and removed unintended vanilla mob drops.
  • Preserved custom combat rewards, progression, spawn anchors, AI behavior, and boss encounters.
  • Reworked enemy visual bodies from mounted passengers into independently synchronized displays.
  • Added automatic visual repair, orphan cleanup, position syncing, and rotation syncing.
  • Restored visible debug hitboxes while keeping underlying carrier models hidden.
  • Added dedicated boss visual handling for the Shorewarden.

Custom Entity Animation

  • Added synchronized visual interpolation for all custom enemies.
  • Added per-entity idle and movement animation profiles.
  • Replaced simple whole-model movement with fully articulated multi-part enemy rigs.
  • Added independently animated heads, arms, legs, claws, tails, and body sections.
  • Added alternating multi-leg movement cycles for Vinecrawler and Canopy Fang.
  • Preserved attached equipment on animated entities including the Claycrest Archer bow and Ruins Sentinel shield.
  • Added self-repair for missing individual rig pieces.
  • Expanded death cleanup to remove complete articulated rigs.

World Generation

  • Replaced the old 344-condition terrain dispatcher with 43 bounded generation batches.
  • Replaced the 55-step foundation dispatcher with 11 compact foundation batches.
  • Preserved the authored ClayGrounds terrain while dramatically reducing world-generation command overhead.
  • Added deterministic resume support for interrupted world generation.
  • Reduced initial generation settling delay.
  • Removed unnecessary per-step particles and sounds during construction.
  • Added paced first-world generation to reduce chunk rebuild and save spikes.

Solmere & World Polish

  • Corrected the elevation of the four colored Solmere houses.
  • Rebuilt the Solmere fountain into a contained, fully visible raised basin.
  • Added fountain pedestal, spout, water containment, and lighting.
  • Added windows, stoops, benches, planters, lamps, market decoration, and town clutter.
  • Added environmental detail along routes to Sunwash Strand, Verdant Steps, Claycrest Ruins, and Sunken Grotto.
  • Added shallow-water exit shelves around Solmere and Sunwash Strand.
  • Added physical-location void recovery through the Solmere Waystone.
  • Added migration passes so existing worlds receive map fixes without resetting progression.
  • Fixed the invalid minecraft:cut_sandstone_wall reference for Minecraft 26.2.

Performance

  • Split articulated enemy processing into separate update frequencies.
  • Visual creation/repair checks now run at a reduced cadence.
  • Smooth entity following runs independently from heavier maintenance logic.
  • Broad enemy safety scans were reduced to a lower tick rate.
  • Orphan/death visual cleanup was removed from every-player 20 TPS processing.
  • Combat, cooldowns, input, and progression remain fully responsive at 20 TPS.

DAI Integration

  • Updated ClayGrounds through the DAI MAIN/ADDON lifecycle changes.
  • Added stable datapack identity: claygrounds.
  • Added managed version metadata.
  • Added automatic replacement support for outdated world-installed copies.
  • Updated compatibility through DAI 1.9.5, 1.9.9, DAI 3.0, and DAI 3.1+ systems.
  • Added native MAIN-experience application branding.
  • Added ClayGrounds-specific startup, loading, world-generation, and level-transition presentation data.
  • Preserved hot-reload compatibility for runtime gameplay definitions.

v0.7.0

  • Synchronized the gameplay pack with the completed v0.7.0 visual companion.
  • Updated managed pack metadata to 0.7.0.
