What's new

A small one, and it is all the same fault. The pack had exactly one way of asking "is the other half of ChaosLoop here" — a score called #plugin — and then printed the word *plugin* from it. That was fine while the plugin was the only other half there was. It is not any more: there is a Fabric mod now, it sets the same score because every feature is gated on it, and so the pack cheerfully told people running the mod that they were running the plugin.

The status screen names the half that is actually running

/function chaosloop:admin/status opens with it:

engine: the Fabric mod (datapack built in)
engine: the Paper plugin + this datapack
engine: datapack only - no mod and no plugin is answering

That last line is the one worth having. When nothing is answering, graves, the minigame vault, real mimic faces and the walkie-talkies are all quietly off — the pack runs perfectly well without them and never used to say a word about what was missing.

There is a second score for it, #side. #plugin still means "somebody is there" and still gates everything; #side only says which, and both halves write it on the same handshake — so a world moved from one to the other corrects itself within seconds rather than keeping whichever word it was told first.

It also names the mimic's body

The Fabric mod can now draw a mimic as a real player model wearing the copied player's skin, rather than a zombie carrying their face on its head. The status screen says which one you are getting, including when it has been switched off in the mod's config.

The wording everywhere else

The event checklist said "(plugin)" against six events, the help screen said a section "needs the ChaosLoop plugin", and the victory lap said the world reset "needs the plugin". All four are things the Fabric mod does too. None of them needed to know which half was running — they needed to stop naming one of the two.

Nothing else moved

No event, minigame, timer or command behaves differently from 1.1.0. If you are happy with 1.1.0 there is no hurry; update when you next touch it, and certainly if you are running the Fabric mod, because the status screen is lying to you until you do.

Needs: the ChaosLoop plugin (Paper) or the ChaosLoop Fabric mod for the graves, the vault, the mimics and the compasses. The datapack runs without either; those parts do not.
