This datapack adds the ability to add potion effects to armor and tools called augments.
Only one potion effect per armor piece or tool.
How use recipes you have to throw the items on top of an enchantment table, all augments can only be added to diamond variants IE. Diamond Helmet,Chestplate,Leggings,Boots,Pickaxe,Sword,Axe,Shovel.

Helmet Augments
Pufferfish + Nether Star = Water Breathing
Golden Carrot + Nether Star = Night Vision
Chestplate Augments
Shield + Nether Star = Resistance
Magma Block + Nether Star = Fire Resistance
Golden Apple + Nether Star = Regeneration
Legging Augments
Enchanted Golden Apple + Nether Star = Saturation
Glowstone + Nether Star = Glowing
Boot Augments
Rabbit Foot + Nether Star = Jump Boost
Sugar + Nether Star = Speed
Tool Augments
Iron Pickaxe + Nether Star = Haste
Iron Sword + Nether Star = Strength
No i will not back port this datapack prior 1.13 because that's impossible.
